From the Art Deco décor to the sultry jazz playing in the background, we’ve recreated the atmosphere of the 1920’s where every night feels like a secret celebration.

Women of Prohibition -

During Prohibition, while the world shifted under the weight of change, women played bold and vital roles in shaping the hidden nightlife — running clandestine bars, orchestrating smuggling networks, and standing at the center of a cultural rebellion. Yet, their stories were often overlooked, their influence left in the shadows. Our speakeasy is dedicated to honoring these remarkable women — the unsung figures whose grit and defiance shaped the hidden world of an unforgettable era.

Mary Louise Cecilia "Texas Guinan"

Texas Guinan was more than just a speakeasy owner. A former vaudeville actress, she became a symbol of the Roaring Twenties nightlife. Her clubs were frequented by the rich and famous, and her witty persona made her a beloved figure in the speakeasy world.
Pauline Sabin

A prominent socialite and politician, Pauline Sabin was initially in favor of Prohibition but later became a vocal advocate for its repeal. She founded the Women's Organization for National Prohibition Reform (WONPR), which played a key role in overturning the 18th Amendment.
Gertrude Lythgoe

Gertrude Lythgoe earned the nickname "Queen of the Bahamas" for her role in managing one of the most successful rum-running operations during Prohibition. She supplied high-quality liquor to the U.S. and was known for her business acumen and fearless leadership.
Mary Dowling

Mary Dowling was a pioneering Kentucky bourbon distiller who refused to let Prohibition end her family’s whiskey legacy. When alcohol was banned, she cleverly shifted her operations to Mexico. Her bold persistence made her one of the few women—and entrepreneurs in general—to outwit Prohibition and preserve bourbon history.
Josephine Doody

Also known as "Josie Bassett," Josephine Doody was a Wild West outlaw turned bootlegger in Montana. She supplied whiskey to isolated miners and loggers and lived an adventurous life, evading the law with the help of her isolated mountain hideaway.
Helen Morgan

Helen Morgan was a celebrated singer and actress whose torch songs and nightclub performances captured the sultry, defiant spirit of the Jazz Age. As a Prohibition-era icon, Morgan turned hidden clubs into stages that defined the sound and mood of the 1920s.
Zelda Fitzgerald

Zelda Fitzgerald was the dazzling, rebellious “first flapper” whose wild spirit embodied the Jazz Age. Alongside her husband F. Scott Fitzgerald, she became a glamorous icon of the Prohibition era, lighting up speakeasies and scandalizing polite society with her fearless energy.
Belle Brezing

Belle Brezing was a famed madam in Lexington, Kentucky, whose high-class brothels made her a local legend. Her legacy of opulence, discretion, and vice mirrored the speakeasy culture that defined the era, reminding America that desire and rebellion could not be legislated away.
Maggie Bailey

Maggie Bailey, known as the “Queen of the Mountain Bootleggers,” built her legacy in the Kentucky hills by running whiskey through Prohibition. Fiercely independent, she supplied her community and outwitted the law for decades, selling alcohol well into her 90's.
